Terms of Service
Naturefilm Studios / Legal
Effective date: September 30, 2026 / Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms explain how Naturefilm Studios provides video editing and post-production services, how a project is agreed, and what each party is responsible for. A project-specific written agreement may add to or replace particular provisions below.
01. About these terms
Naturefilm Studios provides professional video editing and post-production for businesses, organizations, and creative projects. The services focus on client-supplied footage and may include scene assembly, visual finishing, audio and video synchronization, titles and supplied graphic integration, and preparation of finished files in multiple formats.
These terms apply to use of this website and to services expressly agreed with Naturefilm Studios. Browsing the website or completing a project form does not, by itself, purchase a service, reserve editing time, or create a binding project agreement. A project begins only after the scope and commercial terms have been accepted by both parties in writing.
02. Eligibility and authority
You must be able to enter a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. If you request services for a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for that organization and to approve the material, instructions, and commitments provided on its behalf.
Please provide accurate contact and project information. You are responsible for identifying the person who may approve drafts, request revisions, authorize changes to the scope, and accept final delivery. Instructions from conflicting contacts may require clarification before work continues.
03. Project scope and written quotations
The project quotation or agreement defines the deliverables, source material assumptions, intended finished length, included services, export formats, revision allowance, price, payment schedule, and proposed delivery timing. If a signed project agreement conflicts with these general terms, the project agreement controls for that project.
Starting prices shown on the website are indicative prices for the stated limited scope. They are not a promise that every project can be completed at that price. The amount of footage, its condition, the complexity of the edit, required graphics, separate audio, format adaptations, and scheduling requirements may affect the final quotation.
A quotation remains subject to the validity period stated in it. No paid work, additional expense, or material change to an agreed scope will be treated as authorized merely because a visitor clicked a website button.
04. Client materials and permissions
You must provide the materials and permissions needed to perform the agreed work. This may include video footage, separate audio, music, logos, photographs, fonts, artwork, releases, brand guidance, and exact text for titles or credits. You confirm that you own these materials or hold sufficient permission for Naturefilm Studios to process them and for the finished video to be used as intended.
You remain responsible for permissions involving people, private locations, trademarks, copyrighted works, confidential information, and any regulated or restricted material shown in your footage. A supplied music track or third-party graphic is not assumed to be licensed for every platform, territory, or advertising use. Please disclose restrictions before the edit begins.
Naturefilm Studios may decline or pause work involving material that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, creates a credible safety concern, or materially differs from the agreed brief. Where a concern can be resolved by corrected assets or documentation, the parties will discuss the required changes.
05. Source quality and technical limitations
Editing depends on the quality and completeness of the supplied files. Missing frames, corrupted media, severe clipping, poor focus, inconsistent frame rates, very low resolution, or heavily damaged audio may limit the result. Basic finishing or cleanup cannot guarantee recovery of detail that was not captured in the original recording.
Naturefilm Studios will identify material issues that become apparent during the agreed work and discuss practical options. Replacing files, performing substantial restoration, recreating missing elements, or rebuilding a sequence may require a revised scope. You should keep independent backup copies of all source materials.
06. Schedule and client cooperation
Delivery timing is agreed for each project and depends on receiving the required materials, instructions, approvals, and any payments due under the project agreement. Proposed dates are based on the known scope and are not guaranteed until expressly accepted in writing.
If the source material changes, requested deliverables expand, or feedback is delayed, the schedule may need to change. Naturefilm Studios will communicate a revised plan where reasonably possible. Urgent work or accelerated review is available only if separately agreed; no rush availability is promised by the website.
07. Draft review, revisions, and approval
The project agreement specifies the included revision rounds. A revision round means one consolidated set of comments on the supplied draft, addressing work within the original scope. Clear timecodes, exact text replacements, and a single authorized reviewer help avoid conflicting instructions.
A new creative direction, substantial restructuring after an approved stage, replacement source footage, additional versions, newly requested graphics, or changes beyond the included rounds may constitute additional work. Naturefilm Studios will describe the proposed change and price before performing that additional work.
Please check names, spelling, dates, factual claims, credits, subtitles if included, visual selections, and all other client-controlled content before final approval. Written approval confirms that the reviewed version may proceed to final export. Any acceptance deadline or deemed-approval arrangement must be stated expressly in the project agreement.
08. Fees, invoices, and payment
Prices are stated in United States dollars unless the written quotation states otherwise. The invoice or agreement identifies any deposit, milestones, payment due dates, and payment method. Applicable taxes and expressly approved third-party costs will be shown or described where required.
This website does not collect payments through the project request form. An invoice, payment link, or other agreed payment instruction is provided separately for a confirmed project. Never treat the local form confirmation as evidence that a payment has been made or that a billable project has been accepted.
If an agreed payment is overdue, Naturefilm Studios may pause further work or withhold undelivered files after notice, subject to applicable law and the project agreement. Any late fee, financing charge, or collection cost must be lawful and expressly agreed; none is imposed solely by these website terms.
09. Cancellation, changes, and refunds
You may request cancellation or postponement by contacting Naturefilm Studios. The amount owed will depend on the written agreement, work already performed, delivered items, and non-cancellable third-party costs you previously authorized. Any unused prepaid amount will be assessed against those obligations, and any balance due back to you will be returned as required by the agreement and applicable law.
There is no automatic refund exclusion for all digital services. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain available. If Naturefilm Studios cannot complete the agreed work, the parties will discuss an appropriate handoff, revised plan, or adjustment for work not performed.
Disputes about a draft should first be raised with clear descriptions of the issue and the applicable agreed requirement, so that the issue can be assessed against the project scope and the included revision process.
10. Ownership and use of deliverables
You retain ownership of your original materials. You grant Naturefilm Studios the limited permission needed to store, edit, reproduce, and process those materials to carry out the agreed services. This permission does not authorize unrelated advertising use of your footage.
Ownership or licensing of final deliverables is defined in the project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing and to the extent Naturefilm Studios owns transferable rights, rights in bespoke final exported video elements created specifically for your project transfer to you after full payment of the agreed fees. Third-party assets, software, reusable tools, templates, and pre-existing studio materials remain subject to their own ownership and license terms.
Editable project files, raw media copies, intermediate drafts, plugins, purchased stock assets, and proprietary working methods are not included in a standard final-export delivery unless listed in the agreement. Naturefilm Studios will not publish your footage or finished video as a portfolio item without your permission.
11. Delivery and storage
Final delivery is digital and consists of the approved files and formats listed in the agreed scope. Files may be provided through an agreed transfer method. You should download and verify the files promptly and maintain your own backups. Access windows and any storage period will be stated in the project agreement or delivery communication.
Long-term archiving, ongoing hosting, repeated restoration of deleted files, and later re-exporting are separate services unless expressly included. Naturefilm Studios does not promise indefinite retention of source media or working files.
12. Confidentiality and personal information
Non-public project materials and information provided for the work will be used for the project and handled with reasonable care. Where a project requires a specific confidentiality agreement, security arrangement, or restricted workflow, those requirements must be agreed before materials are transferred.
Personal information is addressed in the Privacy Policy. Please do not submit account passwords, identification documents, payment card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through the project form. Footage containing sensitive personal data should be discussed before transfer so that an appropriate scope and handling method can be agreed.
13. Website content and permitted use
Website descriptions and illustrations explain the offered services. Studio imagery is illustrative and should not be understood as evidence of ownership of a particular photographed facility, equipment inventory, or completed client production. Review examples displayed as illustrative copy are not verified customer testimonials.
You may use the website to learn about services and prepare a project inquiry. You may not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, misuse another person’s information, or copy protected site content in a way that infringes rights.
The website is provided with reasonable care, but temporary interruptions, browser differences, and third-party service outages may occur. No continuous availability or particular commercial result from viewing the website is guaranteed.
14. Responsibility and limits
Naturefilm Studios is responsible for performing the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, rights, and approvals of client-supplied content, and for the way the finished video is published or used. Editing services do not guarantee audience growth, sales, advertising approval, or a particular platform outcome.
To the extent permitted by law and unless the project agreement provides otherwise, neither party is responsible for remote or unforeseeable indirect losses caused by a breach of these terms. Any agreed monetary liability cap must be set out in the project agreement. Nothing here limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable rights concerning fraud or willful misconduct.
15. Disputes and governing law
Please first contact Naturefilm Studios with a description of the concern, relevant project reference, and the resolution requested. The parties will make a reasonable effort to resolve service concerns directly. No mandatory arbitration requirement is created by these website terms.
Unless a project agreement provides otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Kentucky, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you. Court jurisdiction and venue remain subject to applicable law and any valid project agreement.
16. Changes and contact
Naturefilm Studios may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, service process, or legal requirements. The updated date appears at the top. Changes do not retroactively alter an already accepted project agreement unless the parties agree or applicable law requires otherwise.
